I am a recent graduate of this school. I studied science subjects in Class 12 and have been a student here since nursery. I was a fairly good to average student until Class 10. However, I must say that some teachers' (not all) behavior was not very respectful. Many teachers were partial and used different tones of speech with different students. The so-called "principal" of this school is extremely discriminatory and arrogant. They often use a disrespectful tone when speaking to the parents of students who do not perform well academically. Parents and students are indirectly insulted and treated with less respect based on academic performance. It seems as though the amount of respect and care a student or parent receives depends solely on the student’s marks. The principal has told parents to watch their tone when speaking to her, but she herself does not follow this rule when addressing parents or students. Respect should be mutual and not based on position. The basic morals of this school seem flawed, and many students are learning that it is acceptable to be disrespectful and ill-mannered as long as they score good marks. There are male students who disrespect female students and even school staff, but nothing is done about it because they perform well academically. Many students dislike teachers and speak poorly of them behind their backs, and this stems from the behavior they observe: teachers and the principal being disrespectful to them and their parents. This school fails to instill basic life skills or moral values in its students. Instead, these responsibilities are left entirely to families. Teachers have even compared families to slum dwellers and used highly inappropriate language. It’s true that marks are important in today's world, but being a good human being should come first. Unfortunately, this school does not teach that because many teachers themselves lack the qualities of a good educator and are in their roles solely because they scored well academically. The emphasis here is solely on rote learning and memorization, turning students into human photocopiers. As a result, very few students from this school achieve fulfilling careers or get admitted to foreign universities. The majority struggle when they face the real world, where good marks alone are not enough. In this school, a student's doubts are only prioritized after they start scoring well, because “that’s how the world works.” Before that, teachers often dismiss questions with comments like, “There are so many things, how can you not understand?” Doubts and individual needs are addressed based on marks, making the school environment highly biased. Some teachers, much like the principal, bully students for no reason and act superior. When students question their actions, they respond with hostility, throwing their weight around as if they are untouchable. A real teacher earns respect and superiority through their actions, not through fear. This school cultivates a mentality of fear and submissiveness in students rather than confidence and critical thinking. If a teacher is disliked by students, it is often a reflection of the teacher's behavior, but the school refuses to acknowledge this. Instead, they teach students to comply out of fear. If you genuinely care about your child’s physical and mental well-being, please think carefully before admitting them to this school. Even parents are often disrespected and insulted over minor issues.
