Eligibility & Selection Process for NDA
To get into NDA, candidates must meet specific educational, age, and fitness criteria. The selection process includes:
✅ Conducted by – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
✅ Eligibility – 10+2 pass or appearing students (Both Male & Female candidates can apply)
✅ Age Limit – 16.5 to 19.5 years
Selection Process:
1️⃣ Written Exam – Covers Mathematics & General Ability Test (GAT)
2️⃣ SSB Interview – A 5-day Service Selection Board (SSB) test assessing intelligence, personality, and leadership skills.
3️⃣ Medical Examination – Candidates must clear strict physical and medical fitness tests.
Training at NDA
Once selected, cadets undergo three years of military and academic training at NDA. Training includes:

📌 Physical & Military Training – Includes weapons training, obstacle courses, endurance exercises, and drills.

📌 Sports & Adventure Activities – Includes horse riding, swimming, shooting, and combat training.
After completing training at NDA, cadets move to their respective service academies:
