Vivekananda Mission School was founded by eminent educationist and social worker Mr. C. G. Chandra, who was a great visionary with revolutionary ideas. He also instituted the Vivekananda Education Society (VES), which is an NGO with an international reputation. The objective of VMS is to impart “Man-making and Character building” education to its students in accordance with the principles of Swamiji Vivekananda. VMS currently has three branches in West Bengal - VMS Joka (Kolkata), VMS Haldia and VMS Baruipur. The founder of VMS is Mr C. G. Chandra, who was a great visionary with revolutionary ideas as an Educationist and a Social Worker. He also instituted the Vivekananda Education Society (VES), which is an NGO with an international reputation. The objective of VMS is “Man-making and Character building” to accomplish the education of our great Swamiji. Now VMS has three branches in West Bengal, VMS Joka, Kolkata, VMS, Anchorage Camp, Haldia and VMS Baruipur.
