About Us
The Vidya Jyoti Academy, Bijanbari, Darjeeling, is a co-educational English-medium school, established in 1990 by the Dr. Radhakrishanan Memorial Trust to face the future and make good citizens of our country. It is critical to educate children and develop their well-balanced personalities along progressive lines with a comprehensive mental outlook, self-confidence based on sound character, and good conduct. The principal aim and objective of this school are to secure for all its children ample scope, equal opportunities, and harmonic development of their physical, intellectual, aesthetic, and spiritual innate powers. We seek to help them to equip themselves fully so that they will be able to build the world in a purely and truly human way and to develop a new order of love, justice, and peace in society.
