St. Sebastian’s School was established in the year 1980. Our founder, the late Mr. C. Rozario, saw the need to provide a good, holistic education to many children in the local and surrounding areas of Seal Lane. He founded St. Sebastian’s School in commemoration of his second son, Sebastian Rozario, who passed away at a very early age. The school started with 5 students and 2 teachers in a small rented apartment at Seal Lane and gradually, after acquiring the present premises at 14, Seal Lane, Kolkata 700015, it shifted in the year 1987.  We are a modern and progressive school with a vision for the future, situated in the heart of the city of Kolkata. The school is affiliated with the Council for the I.C.S.E. and I.S.C. Examinations, New Delhi. It possesses all the modern teaching aids; multimedia computers; good laboratory facilities; a library; and games and sports facilities for the students. We are strongly focused on the growth of children, enabling them to develop in confidence with a modern, progressive outlook combined with leadership and moral values. The school is managed by a very competent Christian society, staffed with trained teachers adept at dealing with small children, imparting education to poor and middle-class children for more than 38 glorious years. We have other units of St. Sebastian’s School at Lake Gardens and Jadavpur.
