About Us

The school is basically an outcome of a long-cherished desire of the people of Naihati to have a good English Medium school, as there was no such school in the vicinity. The dream of such a school came to reality through the unison of two most well-known cultured and educated families of West Bengal, one from the family of Lt. Mahamohopadhyay Haraprasad Shastri, O.B.E., the great educationist and literature eminent linguist and the other from the family of Lt. Dr. Suresh Chakraborty,an eminent physician, a renowned organizer and past president, Indian Medical Association.
