About Us
Redwoods English School was established in 1984 to cater to the demands for a good English education by the people of Jeypore and its neighbouring villages. The need for English as a medium for instruction in the interior parts of the country was a necessity for students who competed at the global level. Mrs. Dawn Reddy, a great academician, was the founder of the school. Her patience and perseverance created an instant bond between the school and the students in our area. Over a period of time, children graduated and went on to become engineers, doctors, and Civil Service aspirants. Redwoods started with the idea of inculcating values, independent thinking, and a liberal attitude in the students. Sports are a priority and are promoted through various games and athletics. We promote co-curricular activities among the students through inter-house and inter-school activities. We have an Eco-Club where we teach children the value of growing trees and their importance.
