About Us
The legacy of Railway H.S. School Alipurduar Junction started in the year 1953. A few years after the country’s independence, the necessity for an educational institution was sincerely felt by some academic enthusiasts of this locality. The first batch of matriculants set the ball rolling in the year 1956. Increasing demand led the railway authorities to open separate schools for girls, and the schools kept on providing quality education to the children of the vicinity under WBBSE and WBCHSE. But the changing academic scenario and the farsightedness of railway officers and academicians guided the school to shift and enrol itself under the CBSE on 1st April 2016.
