About Us
The Mar Baselios Public School is the realisation of a great vision of His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews II, the former Catholicos, who cherished a dream of establishing an ideal public school with a sound basis in our national culture coupled with an international outlook. Now the school is steadily progressing towards its vision under the direct patronage of the current Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan, H.H. Baselios Marthoma Didymus I, the Manager of the School. The compelling forces behind this vision have been to draw out the best from every student and make him/her a harmoniously blended personality with intellectual brightness, moral uprightness, emotional maturity, and social commitment.
