The Maheshwari Girls' School started on January 26th, 1986 and is under The Maheshwari Sabha Trust, Kolkata. The school aims to impart a multidimensional education, catering to the intellectual, social, as well as moral development of the students. It endeavours to expand the students' growth horizons by facilitating and encouraging extra-curricular abilities. On the occasion of the opening day of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Maheshwari Sabha on April 12th, 1974, Shri Ghanshyamdasji Birla exhorted the Maheshwari Community to take in hand a project to expand educational facilities. The move was strongly supported by Shri Rangnathji Bangur, Shri Pannalalji Daga and others present on the occasion.
