About Us
Kendriya Vidyalaya Gandhidham was founded in 1988. It serves the educational needs of the employees of BSF, CISF, the Army, KPT, and the Railways. The school is housed in an L-shaped, beautiful building on a sprawling fourteen-acre plot of land provided by the railways. It is an A-O type school. One section up to Class XII enjoys an enviable reputation for the stringent quality of education it imparts. Though the schools comprise students from very ordinary socioeconomic backgrounds, they have not lagged behind. With the sustained, wholehearted efforts of its dedicated staff, the school has kept up the pace, on par with schools in cities. Many of its graduates hold positions of high social standing both at home and abroad.
