Kendriya Vidyalaya , Chapra About Us

Competency-based teaching has replaced text-based teaching. Texts are simply guidance in this context for those who adhere to this whole educational process. The students have to be skillful in these competencies. Thus, in Kendriya Vidyalaya Chapra, education from classes ii and vii to x is child-oriented rather than teacher-oriented. In this regard, education is reaching students according to their minimum level of learning. The teaching is activity-based, and all the students have to play their part at the level of their knowledge. This way of teaching completes the learning by doing process and makes it joyful and interesting for the students where the teacher is a guide. In spite of educational activities, the students come across different co-curricular activities like dance, drama, drawing, painting, music, and other sports. The medium of teaching is bilingual and promotes one's ability to speak English. The evaluation system is based on grade with support of value points and re-efficient illustrations supplied by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on various aspects like questions, tests, evaluation, preparation of results, etc. In this connection, The Common Minimum Program has been introduced by kids to enhance the quality of education so that the children of the primary section should benefit more and more.
