About Us
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Boudh, has been serving society for over two decades. Under the NPE 1986, the HRD ministry established a fully residential co-educational institution, which focuses on the culture of gifted children in rural areas; adventure activities; environmental awareness; and rural areas; including physical education; promoting national unity; and providing a modern education. It is a full-blown institution in a green environment with a playground, well-equipped laboratories, a library with 4500 books, museum corners, a math lab, an art room, a music room, a resource room, and a computer lab. Students in class VI are encouraged to handle computers. Almost all teachers have gone through the Technology for Education training program, a part of Project Shiksha, organised by Microsoft to support and enrich the learning process and empower technology skills in teachers. Its contribution to social and humanitarian causes has been significant.
