About Us
ITBP Public School, was established on 1st September 1985 with a vision of providing quality education to students. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Classes Nursery to IV to provide primary education to the wards of Assam Rifles personnel posted to Arunachal Pradesh . The school was upgraded to Class VIII and, later on, to Class IX in April 2004 . The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, for a period of five years, from 01.04.2005 to 31.03.2010, with an additional extension from 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2015. As per the GOM's recommendation and MHA's order, the Assam Rifles at the China border have been replaced by ITBP, and the Assam Rifles School at Mohanbari, Dist: Dibrugarh (Assam), has also been taken over by ITBP.
