The Pallottine Fathers started an education society by the name Vidya Prothsahan Sangh to run Holy Cross School, Byron Bazar with the sole purpose of meeting the educational needs of the place. Holy Cross School Kapa become independent from Holy Cross Byron Bazar and got the affiliation of the CBSE., Delhi. With this, the school came into the care of Gyan Sagar Sangh which was established on 30.03.1999. Thus Holy Cross Senior Secondary School, Kapa, is under the care of Gyan Sagar Sangh, which has its objective the care for the educational needs of the people of Chhattisgarh and others.
