I studied at this school from LKG to 10th grade and if you want your kids to grow up with morale, good life values and respect to other people, this is the best place to send your kids to. Sure it has its ups and downs, its not the most modern or the biggest school in the locality, but to tell people that I am ex-harisrite brings me pride. Even when i switched schools(for syllabus purposes alone) the teachers from other schools had high expectations for me because I was from Hari Sri. They really mould their kids the best way ever, to respect your peers. One of the best campuses in Thrissur as well. I've been to other schools and the boys there are not well behaved at all around woman. Something Hari Sri taught me was to respect woman, and is a big feminist school as well. It also moulded the feminist I am today, and I dont get the other reviews about "racist teachers"? My teachers have been very respectful and supportive of me even though I am really not the fairest kid. Its also one of the schools with a large mixture of kids from different cultures. It is strict, but it is worth it. The way they developed my grammar and made me confident in my speaking skills and my writing skills. Fun school to be in, even for the parents. Campus is very great too, next to a homely neighbourhood. Their captaincy selection is soo impartial and once you are chosen you are almost part of the board of directors. They are heavily relying on you to run a the school well whilst backing you up. I remember as a kid looking up to every single chettan and chechi who were being badged a captain. Its not a hierarchical system either, its genuinely a working system, where all the captains no matter Head Boy or Sports captain or House captain, had a voice that was heard. Ideas that were being poured in by the entire team. Really shapes a sense of team effort and leadership in every one of them. Loved this school, believe me you will too. ICSE was also one of the best parts of this school up till 10th grade.
