DAV Public School , Barauni About Us

An invitation from the HFC Ltd. management is a matter of proven privilege. The D.A.V. Trust & Managing Committee, an autonomous body, the biggest non-govt. educational organisation in India having more than 750 institutions spread and functioning throughout the world, founded in 1885, to achieve pious goals and ideology , agreed to come forward to manage the school at Urvarak Nagar Barauni, thus starting D.A.V. Public School in April 1983 as a project school to cater to the needs of the employees of the H.F.C.  In 2002, the school became financially independent and is currently running as a self-financed school. The goal is to impart education on ancient culture on modern fines in order to build up and equip the next generation with the knowledge and temperament to shoulder the scientific age's responsibility. Broadly speaking, it covers the entire spectrum of educational activities. The name of the founder principal, Shyam Swaroop Makhija, finds a place in the history of this school. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, up to secondary level in the year 1989 and up to +2 classes in 1990.
