DAV Public School About Us

D.A.V. Public School, Cantt Area, is not just another glorious link in the chain of DAV Schools, but it is in itself a mission for education. The school was established in 1992. Today, it is considered one of the finest institutions in the district. It has maintained a consistently high standard year after year. The school management tries its best to provide a pragmatic, child-centered education with the motto of all-round development related to the academic ingredients that nourish the character of children. The school is recognised by the CBSE up to XII level and has more than 5000 students on roll at present. The highly qualified, trained, and experienced team of teachers is a source of inspiration to the students. The school aims at enhancing the physical, mental, and spiritual growth of the child through a perfect blend of academics, sports, and co-curricular activities; propagating patriotic values; and thus exposing them to the rich heritage of India. The annual inter-school sports meet, moral education camp, teachers' orientation camps, and teachers' and students' exchange programmes are aimed at exposing the teachers and teaching them to widen their horizons of knowledge.
