About Us
DAV Pt S.R Public School, Bhanjanagar was established on July 7th, 2014 and started its journey under the aegis of the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, on the day of Pabitra Bahuda Dashami of Lord Jaganath with 75 students and 7 teachers. It's a CBSE-affiliated, self-financed, co-educational, English-medium school recognised by the State Govt. of Odisha. The school provides a conducive learning environment in which every individual child is given the opportunity to interact with their own subject teachers. The school has recently begun not only conducting intramural activities such as essays, debates, creative writing, and painting, but it has also begun sending students to participate in extracurricular activities. The school also tried to inculcate fraternity within the society on different occasions like Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, Ratha Yatra, Janmashtami, etc. and conducted various awareness programmes like Disaster Management, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and Vanomahotsava etc.
