The D.A.V. institutions are the gift of the Arya Samaj, a progressive movement founded by Swami Dayanand Saraswati in 1875. Swami Dayanand, the great path-maker of modern India, led a crusade against the superstitions and pernicious practises that prevailed in contemporary India. D.A.V. is a Vedic school, where Hawan acts as a predominant activity among all other activities. The school is managed under the principles of ARYA SAMAJ.
