About Us
A political (National) movement is preceded by a Socio-Religious Reformation movement. This happened in India in the 19th century when social reformers carried on the Reformation movement. Swami Dayanand Saraswati was one of those eminent reformers. To awaken the people from the ground level, his followers started a network of educational institutions. DAV institutions thus came into being. Founded in 1990 to provide a balanced mix of Anglican and Vedic education, D.A.V. Public School, Kedla, managed by the D.A.V.College Managing Committee, New Delhi, is the biggest innovative 10+2 school in the state of Jharkhand with around 1000 students on roll from class LKG to XII. An English Medium Co-educational school run on the most modern lines, the school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for Secondary and Senior-Secondary examinations and is committed to providing affordable and quality education to its students. Score springs have sped by since D.A.V Public School Kedla, sprang into existence spreading the fragrance of knowledge ceaselessly and successfully.
