Bhavan’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Vidyaniketan, Haldia took its step which was the most anticipating and exciting one holding the hands of the then Director, Dr. K .V. Gopalkrishnan under Kolkata Kendra in 1997. Bhavan’s Haldia began its journey within 2 rented quarters in Shakuntala Park Housing, Durgachak. Our school had only 3 students, 2 teachers, a Principal, and 2 non-teaching staff, starting from Classes I & II. Gopal Krishnan laid its foundation in 1999 at Hatiberia, Azad Hind Nagar proving that every tiny step is a momentous occasion to celebrate later. Soon, we saw a prodigious response from the residents of Haldia and our school started grown ever since. Presently, our school has more than a thousand students from Prep I to Class XII and is one of the best schools in Haldia. The first batch for CBSE Examination that appeared in AISSE in 2007 and AISSCE was in 2013.
