Railway Anglo Indian Study Centre, Bulsar was established in 1919 during the British rule. It was the only English Medium Study Centre in Bulsar district during that period. This school building had multipurpose use with three rooms. During the morning hours, it was used as a study center and in the evening, it was used as sports club by the Britishers. The students studying in this school were mostly Britishers and Parsis. It was after the independence, they started using this building for study purpose and then was later named as Railway Primary English Medium School Bulsar. It had classes upto Standard V and in 1926, it was extended upto Standard VII. During that period, Mrs. Semoice was the Head Mistress and she worked upto 1978. After her, Mrs.Girija Panicker was appointed as a Head- Mistress from 1978 to 2001.Three more rooms were extended i.e. (present new library & reading room) The school gradually got upgraded in 1992 from Std. VIII to X and was then renamed as Railway Secondary School (English Medium), Valsad. In 1995, the school celebrated its 75th Platinum Jubilee, same year the first batch appeared for SSC Board Examination. Regarding the infrastructure of the school in 1998, there were 12 rooms including the office, staff room and storeroom. One more room was constructed in the year 1999-2000. The storeroom was converted into a computer lab along with one more classroom in 2005-06. Upto 2012, 6 new classrooms along with separate toilets for boys and girls were constructed. At Present the school building has 17 rooms. In 2013, Library and Reading room were inaugurated by Mrs. Anjali Kumar (Mrs. G.M.). At present, school library is well furnished with sufficient books.
