About Us
Established in 2021 as English medium ALL BOYS school by The St. Augustine Education Society Late Mr. C. R. Gasper is the founder of the St. Augustine’s School. Under the aegis of The St. Augustine Education Society, two schools were established in Shyamnagar and Barrackpore in the year 1975 & 1985 respectively. Barrackpore & Shyamnagar ranked #1 & #2 in North Kolkata respectively (Source: National Senior School Survey, 2019 – Times of India) Our schools received awards for academic excellence (The Telegraph in Schools) Both schools are accredited by Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports – FIT INDIA Both our schools are assessed by Quality Council of India (QCI) – Workplace Assessment for Safety and Hygiene (WASH) Barrackpore school was ranked #3 (All India) on National Merit List for ICSE in 2019 Times of India branded Barrackpore school as “Best in class academics“ The new venture is a boys school with proposed CBSE curriculum, with a mission “Success for every child”

We, at St. Augustine’s Day School for Boys, consider the School as the second home for the students and so the teachers are foster parents for every child in the school. The school believes in providing top quality education coupled with holistic growth of a child and aims to create a successful global citizen. In today’s dynamic world when every moment a new innovation in technology is evolved, the school provides ample opportunities to students to innovate and think critically and lead the learning process. Success for all students is ensured at our school by the delivery of an enriching, child centred, balanced and structured curriculum. Along with the Academic Curriculum we follow Activity Based Curriculum (ABC) which is based on the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. We want all our students to achieve their full potential. Our task is to make it possible and our mission is to provide a platform for the same. At our end, we shall continue working for the best interests of our beloved students and focus on the positive recognition of students’ achievements.
