This school is an absolute disgrace. It's not just bad, it’s a straight-up mistake that should’ve never existed in the first place. In my opinion, DAV Public School in Miyapur is the lowest standard school in all of Hyderabad. If you’re reading this and even thinking about taking admission, DON’T, NEVER. I’m saying this from experience. It will mess with your peace of mind, your growth, and your entire future. Joining this school was the biggest regret of my life. Let’s start with the teaching. Or rather, the lack of it. Especially in Maths, the quality is just pathetic. The “madams” don’t focus on teaching the subject at all. Their energy goes into scaring, insulting, and mentally pressuring students. That’s their teaching method. Want to ask questions? You’ll get sarcasm or humiliation in return. And then comes the guilt. If you’re not someone who worships books 24/7, if you dare to have a life outside studies, they’ll start emotionally breaking you down. You’ll be made to feel guilty for everything relaxing, talking, laughing, existing outside their definition of a “perfect student.” They guilt-trip students into thinking they’re bad people just because they aren’t addicted to textbooks. They pick favorites, force everyone else to copy them, and if you don’t fall in line, they make you feel like a disgrace. It’s not discipline, it’s mental manipulation. And don’t even get me started on the students. So many have a dirty mindset and low standards. Just because they score high marks, they think they’re above everyone else. The arrogance is insane. It’s like scoring well gives them a free pass to act however they want. I still remember one day, my friend told me something that perfectly captured the mentality here: “He can say whatever he wants to you, but don’t say anything back to him as he’s India’s next Ramanujan, he’s topping nicely and getting good marks in Maths.” That was the logic. As if being a topper gives someone immunity to basic respect and decency. This kind of mindset is extremely common among students here, a toxic mix of ego, entitlement, and blind admiration for marks. Many of them think that topping makes them morally superior, like their grades erase the need to be a decent human being. The environment pushes this idea hard that marks are everything, and those who score high are untouchable, even if their behaviour is rotten. Then there’s the school’s obsession with toppers and it’s straight-up toxic. Every year they worship the same 3–4 names like they’re celebrities. But what about the others? What about the students who got 89.8, missing 90 by just one mark? Or those who scored 94.8 and missed 95 by just one mark? They get zero recognition. No appreciation, no mention, as if their effort meant nothing. Apparently, unless you’ve crossed some “magic number,” your hard work is invisible. Even 95% feels average here. What is this, Classroom of the Elite? No wonder students feel like failures even when they’re doing great. And here’s the most shocking part: they still beat students here. In 2025, in Hyderabad where most schools have moved forward this one is still stuck in the past, literally raising hands on students like it's normal. I’m not exaggerating when I say this: I’ve never seen a school this bad in my entire life. I don’t even want to give it one star, but the system won’t let me rate it any lower. This place should be avoided at all costs. To anyone reading this: Do NOT take admission here. It’s not worth your time, energy, or mental health, it’s unarguably the worst school ever existed.
