Maharishi Vidya Mandir school About Us

Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kolkata was established in 1997 as a co-educational English Medium Public School. The school has the vision of churning out dynamic youngsters and giving them wings to soar high in future. Apart from receiving education, the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir practise Transcendental Meditation twice a day, once before the commencement of classes in the morning and again after the recess. Regular practice of TM, as already proved by scientific research has played a significant role in improving the learning ability as well as general life style of the students. This has helped in creating an ideal learning ambience in the school and has improved the social behaviour of every young learner who becomes a member of Maharishi Vidya Mandir family. From the very first day of its foundation, Maharishi Vidya Mandir has devoted itself to bring about an all round development in every child who steps into the institution.
