Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gachibowli was established in 1987, run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi. The school is housed in a 'B' type building, with classes I to XII. The current enrollment of the school is 1413. The schools boasts of three well-equipped laboratories, a large well-stocked library with several books and magazines and a full fledged Computer Department for the senior classes. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, a Civil Sector School Started in July 1987 in a Godown of CPWD, with single section form classes I to VI having students 230 and staff Sri DVS Sarma, SE, CPWD Hyderabad as chairman Sri Kalidas as Principal Grade II ; S/Sh. Md. Alam, Aleyamma Johnson, M M Leel, VVN Prasad, M Venkata ramana, Vijayalakshmi as Primary Teachers ;NK Kairaly, Kranjeet kaur as TGTS ; Vara Laxmi as an LDC ; Balamallu as Sub Staff.
