Infant Jesus Convent School is an English medium, co-educational Christian minority school, established by Simla-Chandigarh Education Society and administered by the religious Congregation of the sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore. All the members of the Simla-Chandigarh Education Society are Catholic priests, belonging to Simla-Chandigarh Diocese. The growing requirement of a convent school in the area paved the path of establishing this institution. This journey began in 2006 when Simla-Chandigarh Diocese Society purchased land from the government and laid the foundation stone on 15 November by the then Bishop, Rt Rev Gerald John Mathias.Therafter, the enthusiastic & untiring work of construction was commenced by Fr.Ambrose D’Souza.The school was established primarily for the education of the catholic youth and extends its services to the members of the other communities.
