We at DPS Bhagalpur believe in engaging students in education as and “experience’ rather than ‘compulsion’. When the distance between the teacher, mentors and the students is reduced to zero, it metamorphoses into a strong ‘guru-shisya’ bond, exciting the pupils who turn into eager participants in the teaching learning process. For, we, at Greater Ranchi believe that it is an illustrious distinction to guide the footsteps of the youth. The teacher is not to create – they are to draw out. Our faculty desires to inspire students to indulge in education that makes the imparting and acquisition of knowledge easy and smooth. Besides being committed to academic excellence and providing education for all round development, another special characteristic of DPS Greater Ranchi is the appreciation of the worth of the each student. The School is equally committed to the under-represented and less-privileged segments of the population, such as gifted applicants whose parents could not attend school, and children with high potential facing difficult financial circumstances. All the academic programs and activities at DPS Greater Ranchi work towards one purpose - to help students develop lives of significance for themselves and for others, true to the traditions of the School Motto "Service Before Self".
