We enrolled our daughter at Bethany High with high hopes, but the experience was deeply disappointing. Instead of supporting her, the school told us she “did not fit their standards,” leaving us with no choice but to withdraw her. No parent should have to go through this. The pre-primary Asst. headmistress and counsellors were especially discouraging. Rather than guiding or helping, the headmistress went on what felt like a witch-hunt to collect evidence against an unsuspecting little child. The counsellors, instead of supporting, acted more like gatekeepers deciding which children were “good enough.” Although the school advertises “Be Kind” as a core value, what we saw was the opposite — a culture more ruthless than most corporates. Our daughter was neglected, made to feel unwelcome, and denied the nurturing every child deserves. Parents should know this before considering Bethany High.
