Authpur National Model Higher Secondary School, founded in the year of 1992, in the semi industrial town of Authpur to cater the growing educational need of the children hailing from the middle class families of the locality. Authpur National Model Higher Secondary School is situated in a healthy and open area of Authpur, near Shyamnagar Railway Station. The school campus has multi storied building along with contigous separate blocks playground meant for morning and day section providing ideal atmosphere for modern and liberal education to the children, both boys and girls to develop their total personality and to prepare them to combat with the problems of modern days life and above all to help them to grow into an upright citizen of the nation. National integrity, habits of honesty, discipline, self-reliance and the principle of shraddha, Gyan and Karma will be culture of the school.

Authpur National Model Higher Secondary School is a co-educational CISCE Affiliated school. It was founded by late Dr. S. D. Duvaidi in the year of 1992. We firmly believe that education should foster independent thinking exploration and experimentation as a lifelong process. With these aims constantly in mind, it is our endeavour to develop-each student the following: 1. The mastery of the skill of communication and learning also learning to live together in peace and harmony. 2.To inculcate the ability to think clearly, logically and independently in a spirit of respect for the values of pluralism and mutual understanding. The school has 1900+students and provides C.C.A/Dance and Music/various Club activities.
