About Us
A GENIUS IS NOT BORN BUT GROOMED BY CIRCUMSTANCES, NURTURED BY CONFIDENCE, SELF-WILL AND LOVING PEOPLE Atomic Energy Central School, Kudankulam, is managed by Atomic Energy Education Society, Mumbai, an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. AECS, Kudankulam, was started for the children of employees of the prestigious NPCIL and its various supporting organizations. As a fledgling school in 2002 with a mere 25 students, it spread its wings to accommodate more than 1200, gathering up even children from the near-by villages. In a short span it grew in leaps and bounds not only in terms of size but in the variety of activities that the students are exposed to - at state, national and international levels. Our school’s approach to the teaching and learning veers away from the conventional and grooms students towards being confident, healthy, well-rounded personalities, all while taking into consideration individual aptitudes and interests.
