My 22-year career in education is driven by the desire to help students to achieve their greatest potential. As a founder Principal, my goal is to ensure students acclimate to our new surroundings and realize accelerated academic, career, and social-emotional growth. Our programs revolve around a strong commitment to rigour in English and Mathematics and the provision of diverse specialist programs including Inquiry units that provide opportunities for analytical, creative and reflective thinking. Our programs include environmental science, an extensive sporting program and expressive art and design. We aspire to develop students who will thrive in the 21st century. We understand that students need to have greater thinking and problem-solving abilities and be more self-motivated than ever before. Our teachers support and guide our students to be thinkers and enquirers, who wonder and pose questions Our school promotes a set of values which empowers students to make positive contributions to the school and the wider communities. Our students live and learn by our values: Respect, Pride, Responsibility and Perseverance. As an experienced administrator and dedicated educator with a knowledge base in Educational “Best Practices”, I am eager to create a working partnership with our staff, parents and community partners. I have an open-door policy and urge all parents to take this opportunity to discuss any issue with me so that we can move forward together. I thank you for trusting me to educate your child to become a productive citizen of society. Finally thank you to all who are helping prepare this the new school. Your commitment to ensuring that Aryabhata Educational Academy remains a celebrated and successful school is awe-inspiring. I eagerly look forward to greeting students and families. It remains an honour and privilege to serve as your principal. Together, I know we will make this school one of growth and achievement for all children. Warmest Regards "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dream.” Eleanor Roosevelt
